TaDa! As promised...the finished product!
I love it when a plan comes together. When I saw this fabric...I saw this Tote!
I'm getting it ready to go in my Etsy store but wanted to give you a sneak peak.
I hope you like it! I'd love to hear what you think if you have a second. Is there something you'd do differently; other colors you'd like to see with it.
I'd love to hear it!!
Have a great day.

New fabric is A PBT in the making!
I'm so excited to get started on this beautiful new fabric. It's a gorgeous black, white & grey damask-like print. I love the graphic nature of this and it will be so beautiful paired with black convas. I absolutely adore the contrast of black and white.
I'll post a pic when I have it made and ready for my store!
Have a great day.

I'm in Love with my Sewing Room!!!
I'm so in love with my sewing Room! My husband helped me re-design and re-organize it when I got home from taking care of my Mom after her illness. I pinch myself every time I look in there from the living room and see the candles lit, and my deliciously girly pink lacy lamp. It's so functional and creative and inspires the heck out of me. I'm so blessed to have this lovely place to work and I will do my best to take good care of it and be a good steward of such a gift!!
It's also my quiet space when I want to read my Bible and pray. My favorite spot is on the bed with my comfy pillows and a hot cup of coffee right beside me. So peaceful.
It's my little corner of the world and I'm so grateful for the gift it is to my life. Thanks to my wonderfully creative Hubby for helping me make it SO beautiful. I just love it!!

I got CUPCAKES in my BUCKET!!
Yesterday my Husband brought me back a treat...my favorite cupcakes from Gigi's Cupcakes here in Nashville. Not 1, Not 2, FOUR cupckaes. I am in LOVE with the Wedding Cake cupcake so he bought me 2 of those and 2 of the Red Velvet cupcake (tied for 1st place). OH...MY....WORD!!!
As you can see from the pic there is one already missing! Oops. Ate it right away. And, I must confess I ate another before bedtime. I know, I know! But, I was just so happy and enjoyin' myself.
Consider my bucket & my belly filled to the brim. LOL. He's too sweet to me and hardly ever passes that place without bringing me a cupcake. That delicious man fills my bucket every way with sweetness, and thoughtfulness, and wisdom, and love, and, laughter and... well, you get the point. I am so blessed!!
Hopefully I'll fill his a little today too. Here's to cupcakes in our buckets!!
Hope you get yours filled today and fill someone else's while you're at it. The Bible says "give and it will be given back to you pressed down, all scrunched together to make room for more! (my translation!) How true! How true! And, I still have 2 cupcakes to go.
Now, go fill some buckets!! I sure would love to hear about it too.
Have a great day.

I filled a BUCKET! How about you?
So, if you read my post yesterday you know I'm workin' on a new kind of BUCKET LIST. I hope you decided to join me or at least pass on the idea to your friends.
Yesterday I went to the drive-up window at the Bank. I always either go in or go to the teller drive-up window. I just prefer to deal with people! All the while I'm thinkin' "how can I fill her bucket"? She was friendly but hadn't really smiled at me & seemed a little glass half-empty. When she finished my business and said "thank you" I looked her square in the eyes and simply said "Thank you! It's always so nice to see a friendly face instead of just a machine. I appreciate you!"
And, honey she lit up like a Christmas tree...the most beautiful smile I've ever seen. Such a simple thing, huh? And, it made my day 'cause I made her smile.
I hope you find the time to fill some buckets today. Don't forget! It doesn't take much. There are a lot of thirsty people out there!
Go get 'em. And, I'm reminded that Jesus said, "whatever you do to the least of these my children, you do it unto me." So, I guess you could say I made Jesus smile yesterday. Now THAT makes my day!
Have a great one. Pass it on!!

A new kind-of BUCKET LIST! Join me for some fun!!
I'm thinkin' the other day about something I heard a long time ago: Every time you come in contact with someone you either FILL their emotional bucket or DRAIN their emotional bucket a little. I don't know about you, but I wanna be the kind of woman that fills you up a little bit rather than drain the life out of ya. LOL
So, here's what I'm proposing! Make a BUCKET LIST today of what you can do to intentionally FILL somebody's bucket. Could be anybody in your life: family, friends, a co-worker, your boss, the person at Starbucks who makes your coffee. There are a lot of empty buckets out there and you have what it takes to fill 'em.
Example: Write a HAND-WRITTEN NOTE telling someone how much they make you laugh, or brighten your day, or make you feel special. You could leave it on their desk, drop it in their lunchbox, pop it in the mail. The important part is that it be "by your own hand". Trust me: it matters!! Or, make a point of letting someone who looks in a hurry go before you in the check out line. You have an extra minute and that minute could make his/her day!
Please PASS THIS ON to your bloggers, facebook friends, twitter-ees ect. Let's GET THE WORD OUT that we need to be fillin' some buckets. People are gettin' thirsty out there friends, and we can give them a nice, cool, refreshing drink of kindness to fill their bucket.
WILL YOU JOIN ME?? On your mark, get set, GO! Have fun!!!
